Director / Senior Director (Chemistry) Job Description Creates scientific-discovery innovation for the Company; Engages in innovative and independent research in different disease areas. Leads one of our Discover Chemistry Departments; Being responsible for multiple discovery programs, ensures alignment of discovery resources to achieve program goals; Seeks out and effectively coordinates multidisciplinary programs; Leads leaders. Requirements The ideal candidate will have a PhD in organic or medicinal chemistry or equivalent experience, and have 15 Yrs postdoc/industry experience with managerial experience and a strong history of accomplishment, productivity, initiative and innovation. Excellent communication and critical thinking skills are required, as well as strong functional expertise in medicinal chemistry. Experience with global pharmaceutical companies is a plus.
